Crafted by 20 exceptionally brilliant minds in the whisky industry, the Glenfiddich Project XX is part of the Experimental Series. This whisky was shrouded in secrecy to the extent that the experts working on the project didn’t know about the specifics until halfway through the project.
Deep golden hue in colour, the Glenfiddich Project XX has fruity aromas of a typical Glenfiddich Single Malt with hints of apple blossom, pear, and summer fruits. The vanilla oak aromas balance well with the golden sugar and liquorice notes. On the palate, the whisky has a deep and mellow. Candyfloss sweetness is complemented by unusual notes of cinnamon and toasted almonds with a hint of crisp tannin. The whisky has a long lasting finish with a savoured sweet oakiness.
