The 15 year old expression from The Singleton of Dufftown is inspired by passion to create the perfectly balanced, smooth, yet rich whisky. Deep amber in colour, the whisky has a drying and slightly spicy feel on the nose coupled with toffeeapple aromas. Some notes of honeycombs can be recognized alongside hints of linseed oil and scented tea. This complex whisky also has fruity aromas of autumn fruits and red berry. Adding water brings out whiffs of charred wood and waxier notes with races of angelica and sweet chestnut . On the palate, the whisky has a sweet start and a delicately dry finish. Notes of malt and oats can felt with hints fruit salad, spicy, and floral notes.
